Job Description :
We are looking for a motivated Social Media Intern to support our marketing and communications team. The successful candidate will assist in executing social media strategies, content creation, and community management.
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and attract a larger audience.
- Create compelling and visually appealing content for various social media platforms.
- Schedule and publish social media posts, ensuring they align with our brand guidelines and voice.
- Monitor and engage with online communities, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend innovative strategies and tactics.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media campaigns and promotions.
- Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports, tracking the effectiveness of campaigns and identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist with influencer outreach, building relationships with industry influencers and managing collaborations.
- Stay informed about social media platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends to leverage new features and optimize content.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure all social media activities are aligned with our company’s values and goals.
Job Requirements :
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest and knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Proficient in using social media management tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and creativity.
- Basic graphic design skills and experience using design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to track and analyze social media performance.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in content creation, including writing blog posts, creating videos, or designing graphics, is a plus.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Note: This is a paid internship and the successful candidate will work closely with our Social Media team to gain hands-on experience in various functions. A full-time job opportunity may be given to the right candidates on completion of the internship.
